New digital trends and technologies in AI, VR, AR, 3D printing, smart home or robotics can be discovered and tested in the playground for gadgets. Mirko Kaminski, initiator and Managing Director of achtung! agency, hit on the idea for the first event in 2017 which attracted over 1,000 decision-makers in 2018.

Direct contact with a gadget such as a VR headset makes decision-makers think faster than a PowerPoint presentation on the same topic, said Jessica Steffenhagen, adding: “Only very few decision-makers have the opportunity to playfully deal with new technologies and innovations.” Thus, the 50 exhibitors will present their products in 60 games areas to make AI, gaming, big data, virtual worlds and robotics tangible.
The focus this year will be on gaming and e-sports, influencer marketing, big data, diversity, female power, blockchain, automation and smart and connected devices. The speakers include Nico Rosberg, former Formula 1 World Champion, Marcell Jansen, President of Hamburger SV, Sascha Pallenberg, Head of Digital Transformation at Mercedes and Katy Roewer, CEO of Otto.
